What do we do?

Onegini is an international CIAM software vendor with a strong focus on finance. We enable more than 100 companies in the financial services sector to create a safe and easy online strategy. In short, we secure portals and apps. From more of a business point of view, we help enterprises to connect, manage and engage with their customers and business partners. We help them to improve their NPS, lower costs, increase margins, improve retention rates and ensure business continuity. It is incredible to see how CIAM software can turn companies into successful digital players.

Onegini has large customers such as Coolblue, Aegon, Nationale Nederlanden, Univé, VGZ, Proximus, Van Lanschot Bank, Dutch Railways/NS, Erasmus and many more. We also enable software vendors, such as Infosys, Mendix, Intrasurance, in securing their platform.       

As Business Development Manager, you will extend our consulting revenues by upselling consultancy on our install base, extending the consultancy team and finding new opportunities to make the business grow even more! 

Who are you?

You prefer high solution and low pressure selling on an install base. You are a natural when it comes to building strong relationships with existing customers. You are creative in finding ways to strengthen online strategies by adding consultancy services. You enjoy working in a fast-growing company, and together with the CEO, will help grow the consultancy department in an already very successful software company. New technologies and Consumer Identity and Access Management spark an interest in you. And most important: You are the winner we at Onegini definitely want!

What do you bring to the table? 

  • You have high solution low pressure sales skills
  • You can understand CIAM on a business level (technical not required) and explain the true values behind it
  • You can create long-term strong relationships with existing customers
  • You spot and pro-actively develop future projects and opportunities with our existing customers
  • You enjoy to build up and manage a sales pipeline and report on a weekly basis
  • You enjoy to focus on and achieve on targets
  • You can create and build relationships with decision makers across multiple departments (Marketing, IT, Security and Procurement)

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Has years of business development experience within professional services
  • Demonstrable success in managing executive relationships with customers and/or partners
  • Ability to understand customer business drivers and ability to establish buy-in at all levels (sales management, delivery leads and senior/executive management)
  • Demonstrable success in managing relationships with customers and/or partners
  • Experience in and knowledge of the (C)IAM market is a preference
  • Experience in and knowledge of the Fintech/Insurtech market
  • Understanding of the value of digital and omni-channel
  • Ability to set clear targets and development plans. Set objectives to achieve those targets
  • Has a can-and-will do attitude, enjoys working in a scale-up environment, has a huge sense of ownership and can work autonomously but also act as a team player
