Logging in and registering on a website, a mobile app or on an IoT device should be user-friendly, easy and secure. Your expertise is required to work with Sales, R&D and our Product management team to successfully identify and qualify the exact technical and business requirements of our prospects and customers. Who are you?

We believe Sales Engineers at Onegini are involved in all stages of the customer’s development lifecycle and are experienced using presentations, email, phone and social media to connect with customers. You are that great teammate we’re looking for that can build sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educate customers (everyone from developers to product managers to C-level executives) on the best ways to CIAM technology. Empathizing with customers comes naturally to you and you quickly discern their true technical needs by asking detailed and clarifying questions and presenting solutions that target those needs. You’re a person with that rare combination of technical savviness and business insight and you’re looking for a career where you can utilize both. As a Sales Engineer at Onegini, you will hone each of these skills by advising a diverse set of customers on what is possible using Onegini’s end-to-end solution. 

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have pre-sales experience or experience as a sales savvy consultant
  • Experience with security / identity and access management pre sales / project implementations
  • A passion to serve the customer, which has played out in some customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally sales engineering
  • Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (eg. OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect )
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: web front-end development, mobile (iOS, Android) development or Java development
  • Programming skills are required
  • An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field is preferred

Our ideal candidate:

  • Can distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales
  • Will execute the delivery of POCs for customers that have more complex use cases, collaborating with other Onegini teams as needed
  • Is able to interact with both business level people (business analysts, project managers) and technical people (architects, developers and system administrators)
  • Thrives under pressure
  • Has a can-and-will do attitude, enjoys working in a scale-up environment, has a huge sense of ownership and can work autonomously but also act as a team player
  • Is fluent in English and has full proficiency of Dutch. German and/or French is considered a plus
